Ngoc received an LL.M in 2005 from University of Miami – School of Law (Florida, United States) where she studied under the sponsorship of Fulbright Scholarship. She holds an LL.B in Law from Hanoi Law University (Vietnam), a B.Sc in Sea Transport Economics from Vietnam Maritime University (Vietnam) and an MBA in Strategic and Management from Maastricht School of Management (the Netherlands). Ngoc is currently a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Bar, Vietnam.

Prior to studying at University of Miami for an LL.M degree, Ngoc had worked for Johnson Stokes and Master (Ho Chi Minh City Branch, Vietnam) for 9 years with extensive experience in investment law, commercial law and corporate law. She has also been a lecturer at HCMC University of Technology and Techniques.

After graduation from University of Miami, Ngoc spent 5 years working as in house counsel for GE in China and Vietnam. Her last position with GE is Legal Counsel for GE Corporate covering Vietnam and Cambodia. After that, as an independent consultant, she has also involved in several other private projects to assist clients in strategies and procedures in business establishment, investment structure, corporate governance, market expansion and contract negotiations.

Currently she manages a subsidiary company under Thai Son Group, specialized in cross border trading and real estate investment. She is also teaching Business Law at Business Administration Faculty of the HCMC International University.
